Acts 1219-1244

Jane B. from Public Outreach, District 15.
Jane and another member did a road trip to all the little villages in the area and put up 9 Posters in General Stores, Feed Mills, Restaurants, and Post Offices.
Dropped off Literature and copies of The Forum to a local Women's Shelter for their Christmas Open House.
A member provided some friends who are in AA with Al-Anon/Alateen literature. They were interested and grateful for the information. The AA members asked if they could spread the word at their meetings.

Gwen G. from Share and Care AFG, District 26.
Took a Public Outreach magazine to work.
3 Nurse Practitioners received Public Outreach Magazines.
A local Victim Services organization received 10 Public Outreach magazines.

Learning to Live AFG, District 22.
Linda left Alateen 20 questions in a Bus Stop across from a Secondary School. Left a Poster on the Bulletin Board of a local Grocery Store.
Christine J. placed "Are you concerned" pamphlets on Coffee Tables at the coffee place in a local Grocery Store.
Glenda C. Placed Posters in Community Centres.
Grace N. Put Bookmarks in Mail Boxes.

Helen S. and Helen N. from Public Outreach and GTAIS, District 22.
Set up a Display of Books and Literature at a local Girls Secondary School.
Sent literature to local Shelters and to a local healing Centre.
Al-Anon District phone number listed in the Yellow Pages and appears in 7 different Directories.

Louise McF. and Helen S. from Public Outreach and GTAIS, District 22.
Contacted local Police Stations and have been sharing "Experience, Strength, and Hope" to over 100 Officers. Al-Anon Bookmarks presented to the Officers to carry in their books. (A suggestion from the Sgt.)
Invited to attend a Full Service Schools Meeting by the District School Board to share about the Al-Anon/Alateen Program. The School Board is looking into Free Space within the Schools to have Alateen meetings.
