Acts 1245-1321

Information dropped off to 20 Doctors Offices, the Local Hospital, and Libraries.

Working with Alateen, Public Outreach manned a display at local Youth and Drug Use Presentation.
Groups have been making Gift Baskets containing Al-Anon literature and an invitation for a ride to a meeting and passing them out to family members attending AA Birthday Celebrations.
(what a creative idea!)
Meeting lists and Al-Anon information has been left at various AA meeting places.
Alateen information delivered to 14 Regional Schools.
Al-Anon information left at local Mental health Centre for Kids, Regional Mental Health Care,
Family and Children's Services, local Health Unit, VON, Family Health Options, local Counseling and Meditation Services, local Housing Corporation, local Youth Organization, local Hospital, Board of Health as well as 5 private Counselor's Offices. Employment and Counseling Centre,
and Family and Children's Social Services.

Jane B. from Waterdown AFG, District 15.
A member noticed the crowds of teens at the local coffee shop. She created a small postcard sized poster introducing Alateen with the time and place of the local meeting. She "remembers to forget" them on a table or in the washroom.

Members left Al-Anon Bookmarks at a local Pharmacy, a Medical Laoratory, a Doctors Office, a Medical Centre, and the Forum was left at an Adult Day Treatment Program for Addiction.

Bookmarks left at local Grocery Store, left with Health Care Provider, Bulletin Board of local Grocery Store, Staff Room of a Fast Food Place.
Posters left on Bulletin Board of the Public Library, AA Intergroup, local Youth Emergency Shelter.
Meeting Lists and Forum magazines dropped of at local Natural health Centre.
12 Step work with 5 people.
