Acts 259-285

Jane B. from Waterdown AFG, District 15.
Copies of the open letter (OSP7) to the Student Assistance Professional were sent to all the schools in the area.

Louise L. from Aurora Serenity AFG, District 18.
There were 18 outreach initiatives taken over the month of August. Many organizations were sent letters, pamphlets, and Al-Anon Faces Alcoholism 2007-2009.

Sharon Mc. from Welland Thursdat Night AFG, District 12.
Meeting lists left at a local laundrymat.
Meeting lists and copies of The Forum given to the local Library.

Barb M. from Public Outreach, District 32.
Four hardcover books donated to a boys group home, two to a Teaching Centre for young people. They were copies of Survival to Recovery, and Alateens Hope for Children of Alcoholics.
An interview with a Youth Wise Coordinator at the Teaching Centre. Literature was left with them. Possibility of a presentation being given there.
Two members participated in a Health Fair at a local High School. Literature and information well received and taken by representatives from other booths, the health instructor and the guidance counselor.

Helen K. from Beacon Hill AFG, District 28.
A member on two occasions left Al-Anon pamphlets in the pocket of the seat on the airplanes.
