Placed 3 "Crying House Bookmarks" in 3 copies of the community paper at local post office.

Local library contacted. Accepted literature to be put on a display table.

Contacted secondary school guidance counsellor who accepted 2 Alateen posters, an Al-Anon poster with tear off phone numbers, and Alateen 20 questions pamphlets.
Placed "Alateen 20 Questions" on grocery store bulletin board.
Al-Anon website included in E Newsletter of local health care provider. This E Newsletter reaches 1500 people.
Connected with a Mobile Addiction Counsellor. She accepted some literature

Spoke to staff members at local Wellness center.
Putting together a slide presentation for schools and professionals.
Dropped off literature to the Youth Opportunities Building.
Fund raiser at the Al-Anon day for literature for Women's Community Housing and the Detention Center

Group has donated 2 CAL books to the Library.
Distributed "Al-Anon Faces Alcoholism 2009" to Chiropractors office, Doctors office, YWCA Abuse Center, and the Mental Health Office.
Gave the Professionals Package to the counsellor's at the YWCA and Mental Health Office.
Provided "20 Questions" pamphlets plus other info to the above groups.
Offered to provide speakers to a counsellor's team conference.
Placed meeting time in the local Coming Events Ad Weekly.
Meeting is listed in a local telephone directory called "Canpages"

Diana from Kingsway AFG; District21?
The group purchased 25 newcomers packages to be available at the Al-Anon literature table at the ORC.

Jane B. from Waterdown AFG; District 15
Left copies of the Forum with the family Doctor, and talked with him about the Alateen meetings.
Another member also reported that she did the same thing at her annual check up.
Provided listings for Al-Anon and Alateen for the local Chamber of Commerce annual community directory.
