Took 1000 black and white photocopies of an Al-Anon Poster down to the "Peterborough This Week" newspaper to be inserted for delivery. It is a free paper delivered throughout the city.

Jane tells me that a member left a Public Outreach card on the bulletin board of the restaurant in Morriston where she went for brunch.

Barb tells me that the store merchants and banks in town are receptive to accepting literature, especially Crying House bookmarks for leaving on their counters. There have been bookmarks left at, the City Bus Terminal coffee shop, Social Services office, bank staff rooms, and 4 local
merchants on the main street.
A Poster was put on the bulletin board at the Library. A presentation was given to the Foster Parents at The Childrens Aid Society.

Dropped off Crying House Bookmarks and Forum Magazines for the staff room at Extendicare.
Dropped off literature at the Service Desk of a large store to be put in the staff room. An Alateen poster for the new Alateen group was also accepted to be hung up.

Provided speakers for a Grade 7 class. Dropped off literature to some of the schools.
Provided speakers for the Grade 6 VIP Program( Values, Influences and Peers) Over 4000 students were in attendance. Received a lot of positive feed back from the students.
A library display was set up.
Provided a display and members for the Grade 7 and 8 Wellness Fair.
Ordered 2009 Al-Anon Faces Alcoholism, received them and will be distributing them to the GR's in the District

Local merchant accepted Crying House Bookmarks for display on their countertop. Stopped in at another merchants to take care of some business and while there asked them to display some bookmarks as well. They accepted.
